Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a ropes course?
Our ropes course (also called a challenge course, confidence course, or COPE course) can be summed in three parts: initiative games, low elements, and high course elements.  Initiative games are problem-solving activities (on the ground) that require brainstorming and teamwork.  Low course elements (0-4' high) are a little more physically challenging, but they also require cooperation, communication, and trust.  High course activities are basically high adventure activities.  They all require safey ropes and gear (it's provided) and range from 25'-40' off the ground.  For pictures and a more detailed description, click here.

What are your hours?
Our office is open 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday but we run groups anytime during daylight hours (usually 8am - 9pm) Monday through Saturday.

Contact Info & FAQ

Are you open in the winter?
Yes, we're open year round.

Is the ropes course safe?
Yes!  Statistically speaking, it is safer to participate in a ropes course experience than it is to ride in a car or play soccer.  All of our equipment can hold at least 5000 lb (it really can!) and is inspected regularly.

If the ropes course is so safe, why do I have to sign a waiver?
We require waivers for insurance and tax purposes.

If I'm coming to the course, what should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move around in.  Tennis shoes are recommended.  Tight clothing and sandals are discouraged.

What should I bring?
Weather-appropriate items: jacket, sunscreen, bug spray.

Do you have restrooms?
Yes, two.  We also have an outdoor drinking fountain.

What else do you have besides the ropes course?
We have 14 regular-size canoes, a large 20-person canoe, an amphitheater, two firepits, and portable activities.

If I'm on I-15, what exit do I take to get to your Provo course?
Exit 265, then head west.  It's 2 miles on the right.  You can't miss the climbing wall.

Where do I park?
For group (ropes course) events, you may park in the parking lot or on the street.  For the Halloween and Christmas Cruises, we ask that you please park on the street and walk in.

Can we camp overnight?
While we do have a large lawn area, we are not a campground.  We can accomodate one group one night per week as long as their tents are down by 8am.  There are several other campgrounds available in the area that we could recommend if you'd like.

What is the dog's name?
Cheyenne
