OVERVIEW
When you and your group come for the ropes course experience, you are likely coming with a goal in mind. This could be anything from having fun, team building, communication, trust, handling change, etc. Our goal is to provide you with the experience your group desires. To achieve this our facilitators take the group through a progressive experience, each activity building upon the previous activity. Typically this is broken up in three sections; Initiative games, low ropes activities, and high ropes activities. After each activity there will be time for the group to discuss and apply what they experienced. Each activity is further explained below:
Initiative Games
What is it?Initiative games are problem solving and get to know you games that are done on the ground.
|
Why is it included? These games are fun and they help the group get comfortable working with one another. It helps our facilitators gauge the group to determine how to run the following activities.
|
How does it work? These games exercise the group's mind and body while building relationships between team members.
|
Low Ropes Activities
These challenging activities will push you and your group, while staying close to the ground. Low Ropes Activities are an essential part of a full ropes course experience because it allows the group to build trust and confidence and work up the courage to participate in the high ropes activities. Often times the low ropes activities is where most of the group's growth occurs. Below are a few examples of activities we offer.
