Religious Focused Youth Event

Primary children 8-11 years enjoy a day on the course learning about Pioneer heritage with crafts, experiences and ropes course activities to build faith and skills in teamwork, communication, and problem solving.

Our 3 hour Pioneer Themed Activity Days Programs are available Monday – Friday 9:00am-12:00pm

Lunch is 12-1pm. Campers to bring their own lunch and can enjoy it on the ropes course after the program.

Schedule

  • Arrive and Check In
  • Brief safety orientation
  • Large group activity to warm up

Split into smaller groups of 8-12 to rotate through stations as follows:

  • Pioneer experience: Campers will take a boat across the Provo river to the Provo Pathway Trail. Guide will share a story about the Pioneers.
  • Scavenger Hunt: Campers will hunt for “supplies” to survive in the wilderness like Lehi’s family did.
  • Low Ropes Course Activity: Campers will practice “Holding onto the Iron Rod” while working together to solve a challenge.
  • High Ropes Course Activity: Campers will learn what it takes to overcome fear and develop faith.

Please note that online bookings close 9 days before an event. However, you can still secure your reservation by calling us directly within this period.

Reservation Policy

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation.
  • At least 14 days before your event you must declare the final number of participants and pay the remaining total.
  • If you schedule an event within one week of the activity, the numbers are final and you will be charged for the reserved number plus any additional participants.
  • You may reschedule your event 30 days prior to your event with no penalty. Your deposit will be lost if you reschedule within 29 days of your event.
  • The ropes course runs rain or shine unless bad weather such as strong winds or lightning become a safety concern. Groups will be notified of cancellations or rescheduling. If CLAS Ropes cancels the reservation we will issue a 100% refund. 
  • No refunds will be issued for no shows.
