Our Summer Camp program provides great activities to both educate, develop and entertain kids ages 10-17.

Is it safe?

Safety is our highest priority.

  • Harnesses and helmets for high elements

  • Life jackets provided for all water activities

  • Redundant safety systems on all ropes elements

  • Industry-standard operating procedures

Outdoor adventure involves managed risk, but our systems are designed to provide a secure environment for growth.

Our staff are highly trained, fully certified facilitators with extensive experience working with children of all ages. They understand that ropes courses can feel exciting and intimidating at the same time, and they are skilled at creating a supportive, encouraging environment.

Our team knows how to build confidence at each child’s pace—cheering them on without ever forcing them to go beyond their comfort level—so every participant feels safe, respected, and empowered throughout their experience.

Camper Expectations

Campers are expected to:

  • Follow all safety instructions
  • Treat peers and staff respectfully
  • Avoid bullying, exclusion, or unsafe behavior
  • Contribute positively to the group
  • Bring their own lunch and water bottle
  • Come dressed and prepared for the day’s activities

Campers who demonstrate unsafe or aggressive behavior may be sent home without refund.

  • No refunds for early departure.

  • No refunds if a camper is removed for behavioral reasons.

Phone Policy

To create a fully immersive outdoor experience, campers may not use phones during program hours.

Phones may be brought for travel purposes on Friday only and must remain in backpacks during activity time.

If a camper uses a phone during program hours, staff will hold the phone until pick-up.

We have found that limiting phone use:

  • Improves social confidence
  • Reduces distraction
  • Strengthens peer connection
  • Enhances focus during adventure activities

In case of emergency, parents may contact the CLAS office at any time.
